Is it safe to use Power line networks?

posted Nov 7, 2013, 12:59 AM by Amir Borenstein, No Rad

– Power line networks is a technology in which the PC network is embedded onto the electric power lines inside the house. I think Power line networks technology is much better than WIFI (as far as EMR is concerned) but it produces some Dirty Electricity (low-mid frequency single over the power line). The best thing to do (as far as EMR and speed are concerned) using CAT5 or CAT6 network cable is the best way to go.

How can I limit my EMR exposure?

posted Nov 7, 2013, 12:57 AM by Amir Borenstein, No Rad

A – Your exposure depends on the levels and time of exposure. In order to limit your exposure, you need to reduce both. Reducing the levels can be done by putting more distance between you and the source (cell phone for example) and by using a device that emits less EMR. In addition, it is very important to limit the use and to minimize your time on the cell phone and around other EMR sources.
Please see EMF reduction page on this site.

Do cellphones emit EMR when in standby mode?

posted Nov 7, 2013, 12:54 AM by Amir Borenstein, No Rad

A – Yes, in the following cases: most cellphones will communicate to the closest base station (antenna) and will report their status once in a while. If you receiver emails or SMS messages to your cellphone, this will result in transmission and emission for several seconds when the messages are received or when the phone sync with the network.
If you have a third-generation cellphone or a smartphone and you run applications that access the web, your phone will transmit and receive data from the cellular network and will emit EMR will do that. Please see those page on this site:
