The Israeli electric company, IEC, has been deploying smart meters with a cellular modem, for the past 4 years now. Last month they installed 2 smart meters next to my house (5 meters away in a special utility cabinet). In the last few days, I have been running (recording) RF radiation tests on these meters in order to find out when they radiate and if there is anything to fear from.
The tests were done, during the last 2 weeks, during the day and night, every time for several hours. It was done by using a PC software to record the output of a CORNET ED88TPLUS and an ED98QPRO5G that was held in front or on the side from the meter’s cabinet.
The outcomes showed that usually(but not always) every 8-15 minutes each smart meters transmit a 12-second sequence.
Once in several hours, the meter transmit also long 80 second sequence.
Once in a while, each meter transmits a 1-2 second pulse.
The overall pattern of the transmission was not constant and seems to be affected by the consumption of electricity, and maybe several more factors that are still unknown to me.
The level of the radiation transmitted also changes, maybe according to the reception level. In one measurement I saw the levels from the same meter change several times across several hours.
In case these meters are installed on the wall of a bedroom, or inside an EHS apartment, the RF transmissions can be a cause of EHS symptoms, pain, suffering, and even deterioration in the EHS condition.
