Today the ministry of communication held a conference and updated that the cellphone companies got their licence to start the 5G service in Israel. This marks that 5G is now officially aired in Israel. Few weeks back 2 of the 3 carriers updated that they had already upgraded 250 of their antenna sites to 5G.
So far it is not clear which technology is going to be used. My guess is that it is going to be LTE Advanced. Frequency range is 700MHz, 2600MHz and 3500-3600MHz.
